Caesar salad

Many times we can overcomplicate healthy and delicious meals. The endless Pinterest recipes might be tempting to try, but if I am being honest, I like quick recipes on week nights. Recently, one of my go-to meals is a Caesar salad. The flavor is amazing! The other day is was chicken on caesar. I've tried using spinach instead of romaine. Tonight I had steak, caesar salad and some cauliflower and broccoli.

Today I heard a podcast that shared how the B-52 fighter jet design has remained over all of these years. This might sound like a far stretch, but tonight it made me think about the Caesar salad. It might not the latest and greatest idea in cooking, but it is classic. Sometimes in life something is done well the first time. Instead of having to reinvent or "progress," as our society loves to do, we can enjoy the recipe that works. Although a Caesar salad might be an oldie, it is a goodie.

2 Cups of romaine lettuce
