Hey Friends!

Welcome to my website. I’m so glad you decided to stop by! Below is a little bit of my story, but at the end of the day, my prayer is for this space to be an encouragement to you and most importantly a place that gives glory to our extraordinary God!

Love,

Emma

THE BIBLE

If we ever want to experience the immeasurably more in our normative days, we need to open the single most important book and only offensive weapon defined as God’s holy Word. This is His love letter. This is His story. This is our story.

We really have to fight for our time with Jesus. Sometimes the extraordinary one day is that fact that we spent time with God. Actually, that is what makes a day extraordinary. We, who are finite beings are able to have a one on one personal relationship with the creator and redeemer of the world! This is reason enough to take on today with hope in Him.

Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path. - Psalm 119:105 (CSB)

PRAYER

IMG_8575.jpg

This is convicting to me. Prayer does not have to be fancy vocabulary. Prayer is simply communicating with God throughout your day. Although, simple is far from the reality.

Once I was on an airplane and praying (I do a lot of that from the sky). I heard about rainbows from planes and asked the Lord to show me a rainbow from 35,000 feet. As I watched, to my surprise I saw a glimpse of color appear and within a minute a full circle rainbow (known as a “glory”), shown brilliantly before my eyes! I was in complete awe and taking pictures as fast as I could.

After I arrived home from my trip, I reflected on the thought, what if I had not prayed for that rainbow? Or what if I had the blinds down to avoid the reality of where I was at in the sky? If I did not pray it would have been beautiful, but not personal. If I did not look, I would have missed the “glory” all together.

We can choose to pray and be in relationship with God making our faith even more personal day by day or we can get “busy” and ignore His presence in our lives, “look away” and miss His loving power and work all together. The fact is that we may not encounter rainbows every day, but we have full access to Jesus every day, and that is the real miracle.

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him. - Hebrews 11:6 (ESV)

Serving

On November 27, 2012, I sat down to spend time in God's Word. I had been praying for direction in my life during my sophomore year of college. After a series of confirmations to follow the Lord into Christian Artistry, I was about to walk away from the opportunity. The night before my decision, I asked God to give me clarity in our time together the next morning.

I woke up and was studying Ephesians, As I wrote down Ephesians 4 in my Journal, I looked up and realized that I missed that last two verses of chapter 3 from the day before.

Ephesians 3:20-21, "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."

From then on, I have been on a journey of faith and learning that the Lord gives us dreams so that we can use them for His glory! Sometimes these dreams can change, sometimes our extraordinary seems quite ordinary, but as the world turns our perspectives move even just slightly each day away from our plans and up to the face of God for His divine direction for today.

Now, I am 26-year-old Author, Speaker, Worship Leader, and Kidstunes Music Instructor (You can call me the crazy hat lady). I am based out of the beautiful Hickory, North Carolina. I hold a bachelors degree from Liberty University in Music and Worship Studies specializing in Christian Music Artistry & Songwriting.

During and after college, the Lord gave me two opportunities to record in Nashville, TN with some amazing producers (Cody Norris/Ed Cash and Scott Williamson). He also blessed me with a sweet season of running Polished Conference Ministries and the Refined Magazine for teen girls and their moms. Debbie Presnell, me and our team, put on conferences, events, and retreats to inspire audiences to become refined women of God. I also had the privilege of being a national spokesperson for Mukti Mission based out of India. Mukti has been working to restore shattered lives in India for over 120 years.

I am passionate about young women realizing their potential through Christ. This led to starting Cultivate, a place where women in their 20’s can grow in faith and friendship. This group can be modeled anywhere with leaders in your community (See Community tab above).

Currently, I am in the editing stages of my first two writing projects: a Bible study on womanhood and a non-fiction book on singleness. The art of writing has become a passion of mine and a beautiful testimony to God’s work in my life. As a 26-year-old woman, I have been growing so much over the past couple of years by learning more about Christ, His Word, and myself. The lessons that I have gleaned from His Scriptures have impacted me in such a way that He has led me to share them with you too! Be on the lookout for the first release by the end of 2019!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing games, group exercise, dancing, and drinking endless amounts of green tea.

God is extraordinary, Jesus made you extraordinary, and through His Holy Spirit, make today extraordinary!

Much Love,

Emma Danzey
